Haryana Police Syllabus 2026: The Government of Haryana has introduced important changes in the Haryana Police recruitment process for 2026 through amendments to the Punjab Police Rules, 1934. As per the latest rules, the Knowledge Test will carry 97% weightage, making it the most crucial stage of the selection process for both Constable and Sub-Inspector (SI) posts.

This post provides the updated Haryana Police Syllabus 2026, exam pattern, subject-wise details, and minimum qualifying marks as per the latest notification.

Haryana Police Selection Process 2026

The Haryana Police recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
  2. Physical Screening Test (PST)
  3. Knowledge Test (Written Exam – 97% weightage)
  4. Additional Weightage (Maximum 3 Marks – NCC)

Only candidates who qualify PMT and PST will be allowed to appear in the Knowledge Test.

Haryana Police Exam Pattern 2026 (Knowledge Test)

  • Total Weightage: 97%
  • Question Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Language: Bilingual (Hindi & English)
  • Marks per Question: Equal marks for all questions
  • Negative Marking: No (as per previous pattern)

The standard of the question paper will be:

  • 10+2 level for Constable posts
  • Graduation level for Sub-Inspector posts

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • General Category: Minimum 50% marks in Knowledge Test
  • Reserved Categories (Vertical/Horizontal): Minimum 40% marks (10% relaxation)

Additional Weightage (NCC Certificate)

Candidates possessing NCC certificates will get extra marks as follows:

  • NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 01 Mark
  • NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 02 Marks
  • NCC ‘C’ Certificate: 03 Marks

This additional weightage is applicable for both Constable and Sub-Inspector posts.

Important Points to Remember

  • Knowledge Test is the most important stage with 97% weightage
  • PMT and PST are qualifying in nature
  • No interview stage in Haryana Police recruitment
  • Final merit will be prepared based on Knowledge Test marks and additional weightage
