IGNOU December Exam Form 2026: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened the online examination form submission process for the December 2026 Term-End Examination (TEE) for eligible students of ODL and Online Programmes. The December 2026 TEE is likely to commence from 25 November 2026 onwards in Pen & Paper and CBT modes.

Eligible students can submit the IGNOU December TEE Exam Form 2026 through the Samarth Examination Portal. The examination fee is to be paid online through the Samarth Portal only.

IGNOU December Exam Form Fee 2026

For students admitted up to the December 2022 admission cycle, the prescribed examination fee is Rs. 200/- per theory course. Students submitting the form during the late-fee period are required to pay the prescribed late fee.

Important: The examination fee will be accepted through the Samarth Portal only. Payment through SBI Miscellaneous Fee Challan or any other mode will not be accepted.

Who Can Fill IGNOU December TEE Exam Form 2026?

Students should fill the December 2026 TEE examination form for eligible courses, including:

1. Eligible courses registered for the first year/re-registered for the second or third year of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes.
2. Eligible courses of Diploma and PG Diploma Programmes.
3. Eligible courses of Certificate, PG Certificate and semester-based programmes.
4. Students whose programme validity is still active.
5. Eligible courses for which the student has not successfully completed or has not appeared in the term-end examination.

Students who appeared in the June 2026 TEE but whose result has not yet been declared can also add such courses while filling the December 2026 examination form, without waiting for the result.

Eligibility Conditions

To appear in the IGNOU December 2026 Term-End Examination, students must fulfill the following conditions:

• The course fee for the relevant year/semester must have been paid.
• The prescribed courses must have been opted and pursued as per the Programme Guide.
• The examination form must be submitted within the prescribed time.
• Required assignments must have been submitted within the due date, wherever applicable.
• The student’s programme registration must be valid.

Students must also ensure that their course registration is valid, required assignments have been submitted and the minimum time required to pursue the courses has been completed.

How to Fill IGNOU December Exam Form 2026

Eligible students can follow these steps to submit the examination form:

1. Visit the official IGNOU website.
2. Open the link for the December 2026 Term-End Examination Form.
3. Log in through the IGNOU Samarth Portal.
4. Select the required Regional Centre and Examination Centre carefully.
5. Select all eligible courses for which you want to appear.
6. Check all details carefully before submitting the form.
7. Pay the examination fee through the available online payment gateway.
8. Complete the examination form submission.
9. Download and save the acknowledgement/fee receipt for future reference.

Important

The University has advised students to fill all required courses in one attempt because submitting another form later to add courses may result in a change of examination centre or non-availability of seats at the same centre.

ABC ID is Mandatory

Students are required to create their ABC ID while filling the Term-End Examination Form. Without an ABC ID, their marks/grades may not be reflected on the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)/DigiLocker, which may affect timely declaration of results.

IGNOU Exam Centre 2026

Students should select their Regional Centre and Examination Centre carefully while filling the examination form. The University will try to accommodate students at their selected centre. If the sitting capacity is exhausted, students may be asked to choose a nearby/alternate examination centre under the same Regional Centre.

No request for change of examination centre will be entertained after submission. All examinations are to be given at one examination centre only.

IGNOU December TEE 2026 Hall Ticket

The IGNOU December 2026 TEE Hall Ticket will be uploaded on the University website for eligible students approximately one week before the commencement of the examination.

Students must carry a valid Hall Ticket and IGNOU University Identity Card to enter the examination hall.

Important Instructions
