PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana: Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana is a new scheme of the government. The objective of this scheme is to help those who work as labourers in traditional crafts and industries or anywhere else, to get financial assistance and training. The main objective of this scheme is to promote traditional crafts and industries and improve the living conditions of those working in these sectors.
This scheme was launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 17 September 2023 on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti. Its objective is to assist traditional craftsmen and artisans in their skills and financial condition.
PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana Overview
10 lakh artisans and craftsmen will get assistance in this scheme. A budget of Rs 13000 crore has been set for this during Budget 2023. Under this, people can take a loan up to ₹300000 at a 5% interest rate.

The following documents are required to avail of the benefits of this scheme: an Aadhaar card, identity card, mobile number linked to Aadhaar, caste certificate, bank account, passport-size photo, email ID, and ration card.
Who Can Apply For This Scheme
Artisans and craftsmen from 18 areas have been included in this scheme. Some of these are carpenters, boat makers, cloth makers, blacksmiths, locksmiths, goldsmiths, hammer and tool kit makers, potters, sculptors, cobblers, broom tokni mat makers, masons, doll and toy makers. , barbers, garland makers, washermen, tailors, fish net makers.

The government has started the portal of Vishwakarma Yojana. The application process has started in this. 15 days of training will be given in this scheme. During the training, the person will get ₹7500 at the rate of ₹500 a day, then after the training will get ₹15000 and a tool. The minimum age to apply for this scheme is 18 years, and the maximum age is 50 years.
After training, if a person needs a loan up to ₹100000, he can easily get the loan at a 5% interest rate.

- To get the benefit of this scheme, first of all, one has to visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Yojana. There you have to click on login and enter your name and password. Then you have to click on the login button.
- If an applicant is applying here for the first time, then first of all he/she has to click on the Register button. Then you have to fill in your name, address, contact information and other necessary details. You have to upload copies of your Aadhar Card and I-Shram Card and finally click on the submit button.
- After that, the applicant has to fill out his/her application form by clicking on Apply Type. After filling out the application form, upload all the required documents and click on submit. At last, the printout has to be taken out and kept safe, so that it can be used in future.
