SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026 (CHSL 2026). The examination will be conducted for recruitment to Group C posts including Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India and other organizations.
Candidates who have passed 12th Standard and fulfill the prescribed age and other eligibility conditions can apply online. The online application process starts on 07 September 2026 and the last date to apply is 07 October 2026.

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam is conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The CBT exam includes a total of 100 questions with 200 marks. Two marks are awarded for each correct answer and half a mark (0.5) is deducted for each wrong answer. The time duration of the exam is One Hour.
