India Post GDS New Vacancy 2026: The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications has released the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Schedule-II, July-2026 notification. The notification is dated 20 August 2026 and invites eligible candidates for engagement to the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak
The online application process will start from 02 September 2026, while One-Time Registration (OTR) will begin earlier from 31 August 2026. Candidates can submit their applications online through the official GDS portal. The selection will be made on the basis of a system-generated merit list prepared from marks obtained in Class 10th.
