JEE Mains 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2024 January session (Session-1) exam notification. Eligible candidates can apply online for the JEE Main 2024 January exam from the NTA website (jeemain.nta.ac.in) starting from November 1, 2023.
The JEE Main exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs), and institutions/universities funded or recognized by participating state governments.
It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. For Academic Session 2024-25, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) – 2024 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024)

Age Limit- For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2024 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfil the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission

Educational Qualification for JEE Mains 2024
- For B.E/ B.Tech: Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
- For B.Arch: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- For B.Planning: 12th Pass with Mathematics
